Before Ewa Beach became a town and city, it was a plantation farm when Hawaiʻi was under the rule of Queen Liliʻuokalani. Throughout the twentieth century, Ewa Beach has played a very influential role in Hawaii's culture, economy, and politics. As we traverse the next 5 years, The Ewa Plain is expected to continue growing as the Ho‘opili P roject begins to take shape.
